The reason I look down upon LA Galaxy and NY Red Bulls is because I don’t consider them MLS teams. The reason I am so in love with MLS is because it is like no other league in the world. We have fresh talent, talent that is generally taken overseas, because let’s be honest, THAT’S WHERE THE MONEY IS. Our players are mostly American players, sometimes right out of high school, sometimes right out of college, and that is what makes our league great. We can train our young players in MLS youth academies and build them up to play on a national level. Teams like Barcelona and Manchester United can pay any amount of money to bring the biggest stars in the world to their teams, while MLS just barely has enough to acquire the aging superstars of 10 years past. But when NY and LA are given millions to buy talent, just to get word out of those players playing for MLS, how is that keeping the level of play fair? Of course LA is going to make it to the cup final, if they didn’t, it would be the worst investment of the decade. In the case of Juan Pablo Angel being booted from the Galaxy in order to acquire ANOTHER designated player, is complete bullshit. They already have 3 when most teams only have one, what would a 4th make a difference? A team with 3 DP’s going up against a team with home grown talent and well trained players could equal the biggest upset in the league, or what everyone is already expecting, the powerhouse taking the final.
Point being, suck my dick if I give you shit for being an LA or NY fan. I am an MLS fan and prefer the game I love and grew up playing to be more than just “good business.”

So when I was a child, I was in girl scouts, and they had annual father daughter dances. I could never go to them because my dad was always out of town, but sometimes my mom would help make the food and set up, etc. but the only time I ever really went to the dance with my dad was when I was in 3rd grade. And the only song I remember dancing to with him was “Can’t help falling in love” by Elvis Presley.
This is the main reason why Coyote Ugly is my favorite movie. Because when violet and her father are dancing at her best friend’s wedding, they’re both dancing to that song. And then that night he gets hit by a car and she comes to see him in the hospital.
